One of the issues is what to do with a legacy with a sitting sister. Seems to me that it is up to the sitting sister to put forth her case and, if there is good cause not to give a bid to that girl, then let her go early so she can find another house. Why is this such an outrage? I care about this issue because it happened in my family. In that case, the alum ref chair made the cut, talked to the sitting sister about why, and spared the sitting sister from having it all happen during rush. The girl went on to find a house that was a better fit for herself.

Are these twins the girls who had a sitting sister? And I agree they may tell their family something different but if the girls are happy then they had a great recruitment right? So why all the drama???

Here are the facts: Theta cut a darling PNM who was a big time legacy and has a sister in the house. The sister fought hard and was never told they cut her sister. The PNM did not cut Theta like some have suggested. Theta also rushed twins hard but only bid on one. Neither cut Theta. Chi O has nothing to do with any of this. Thetas are just saying that to divert attention to someone else. It appears Theta is never going to admit any of this so we can all just put the issue to rest knowing Thetas are not only shameless but dishonest too. Boom Boom and "bittersweet."

How do you know all of this stuff? You know where people were on Theta's bid list? You know that Thetas are posting things on here? Sorry. I just don't believe you. You'd either have to be a Theta recruitment adviser who did the list or a person who works at panhellenic recording information. I'm pretty sure you're neither. If you heard your information from someone, you could be wrong and probably are.

For all you know the sister maybe didnt fight hard for her. You just probably heard a rumor that someone with a sitting sister didnt end up pledging theta, and are now filling it in with stupid and outrageous claims. You don't know what you're talking about. Are you really so bored and unhappy that sitting on Greek Rank all day will make you feel fulfilled?

Thanks for being voices of reason. This gossipy thread has gone on long enough. Membership selection and what houses PNMs decide to rank where is certainly no one else's business.

Chi O, please get off the internet and leave Theta alone. You've been on their backs since last spring. You're a lower tier house pretending to be a top house and give Theta some suggestions. All I can say to that is that you're incredibly dense. Theta doesn't need your suggestions or reprimands.

(By the way, you need to learn the art of the riposte. You dug through all the threads on here to go back to one you wrote on August 13th -- a week and a half ago -- to bring up your problem with Theta. That means it's YOU airing dirty laundry -- not Theta. You really are incredibly ignorant and if you're a student at OU, it's likely you won' t be here long!)
