You ought to be ashamed of yourselves but it just goes to prove you have no sisterhood to speak of and just as much class. What a disgrace. It's time Theta national does something about this arrogant and disloyal house.

as i understand it, it was a good family friend alum from a different house who called a good friend of hers who is an influential alum in yet another house - and that house was able to offer this girl a spot. it is a testament to good relationships between sororities that this was able to happen for the girl - just a shout out to those who helped.

maybe chi o is capitalizing on the situation, which is wrong. it's also wrong to assume that theta was acting in a disloyal way. disloyal to who? there's loyalty to your sisters and also loyalty to the sorority as a whole. imo having a sitting sister should never be a guarantee.

I agree. I don't think a single sorority in the Panhellenic conference guarantees a sitting sister a spot in their sorority. Additionally, there are so many legacies that sororities can't guarantee them a spot in any chapter of the sorority.

It is sooo true that Theta cut a darling girl with tons of legacies in her fam AND a sitting sister. She is soooo much better off at the house she pledged but "behind the scenes alums" had NOTHING to do with it. It's also true that Theta rushed twins but only gave a bid to one of them. Oh and I'm not a Chi O.

Don't think you're a Theta- theta doesn't invite to pref and then cut legacies - in simple terms theta would cut before pref.
I think you are the girl who pretends to be everyone on this site.
Theta is happy,girls got the house they wanted so they should be happy. It could happen to any house and any girls.
So no reason to continue posting unless someone just wants to stir up trouble.
People have figured out what happened and Theta did nothing wrong. Girls chose a different house.
And if Theta HAD cut them, they still had the right to do so, and that's every sororities national position.
This is just another twisted hate fest!!!

I am totally confused???!!! I do agree the OU site is out of control. I don't know what's on the aggie site. Theta is not a top tier at TAMU but TAMU is not a strong Greek campus either.

Please. You know and we all know that PNMs really don't "choose" their house but that the houses themselves choose the girls. Many PCs are practically planned before even one PNM steps foot in a house during recruitment. When will someone with Theta step up and admit the truth. Then, and maybe then, this will all be put to rest. Until then, Theta is the laughing stock of OU pan right now.

True to some extent. But girls do rank, and RGs tell them that if they don't want a house, to rank it at the bottom. It's pretty easy to tell your family you did one thing and really do something else because you know another house is a better fit. That's what those girls did.
