Pay attention to the other pnm's at your pref party. This could be your new member class. These will be the girls that you will be closest to in the sorority and that you will potentially go all the way through graduation with. Factor this in when you rank your houses.

Don’t pay attention to girls older and in the house as much because pledge classes are so big you won’t really see them much.
So yes look around today and the girls in the parties with you.
