Tomorrow is the first day of recruitment!
I’ve seen so many hate filled posts on here. There are so many amazing girls going through recruitment, which then makes every house good! What is important to one girl may not be to another, which is why ranks are stupid.
PNM’s go be your own person, pick a house where you can shine, don’t follow your friends, it’s time to grow out of high school and find your new individual existence, not what your high school friends tell you.
When girls follow their friends and pledge the same houses is when problems occur. The same high school drama occurs.
Have fun! Enjoy the process! Don’t get your feelings hurt...there’s so many girls going through and it’s a numbers game! And on bid day, wherever you land, embrace it and have so much fun!

This is the reason for the season! Remember to take your water and remember that you will find your home and family if you keep an open heart about every house you visit. There are no bottom houses, just 11 different sororities that do a great job sorting you into houses.

I agree, but I don't think you should avoid a house that your heart is leading you to just because the same is happening to friends from your high school or because someone you weren't friends with in high school is in the house either. You might miss out on a house you would really love. The pledge classes are made up of over 80 girls and I have seen friends join the same house, make their own individual friends and stay friends and be very happy. Just follow YOUR heart and let your friends follow theirs. Definitely don't believe the self rankings and manipulative and deceptive posts on this site. It wasn't like this last year or the year before and it doesn't represent what OU Greek life is about. Your goal should be to join a sorority if you are given an invitation and to have an amazing college experience with the support of your sisters instead of going it alone your freshman year.

Most pnms are still so young that they completely governed by peer pressure. That's why all the hater posts on this website show up every year at recruitment time.
