by: WonderingHow many houses did you guys have on Rounds 2, 3, and 4? I heard it’s very common for girls not to max out on rounds 2 and 3 (ex. Having 8 of 8 possible houses during round 2 and having 5 of 5 possible houses on round 3). If an alumnae wouldn’t have told me that it’s common for girls not to max out then I honestly would’ve freaked out if I got my schedule back on round 2 with only like 4/5 houses when there’s a possibility for 8. So wondering about this question and also posting this in case other PNMs didn’t know this either.

7 & 4, but also keep in mind I was connected to many of the houses, had rec letters, and had friends pulling for me. How many houses do or dont ask you back doesnt make you worse or bettee than another pnm, because we all end up in 1 house where we belong, as long as we trust the process!

I’m a legacy so the houses that I didn’t have friends pulling for me in cut me, which I get. I did end up going to my legacy house, so they were also smart, lol.

round 2 I had 7 houses and felt so full of myself and SO over confident. that changed at round 3 when I had 3 houses left. Big oof. But I love my house and sisters now, so once again, trust the process!

How did it make you guys feel when you only got 3/4/5 back for round 2? We’re you guys happy with the houses/# of houses you guys got invited back to or were you disappointed with the number/houses that invited you back? I’m expecting to feel a mixture of emotions during rush and just want to know what kind of emotions to expect so I know I am not alone. But at the end of the day I will be blessed if I get invited back to any during each round. Even though it might not be a house I was hoping for I still want to make the best of it and have a good attitude because at the end of the day everything happens like it does for a reason.
