If you want to be successful after college then you should study hard. This has nothing to do with what house you’re in. I can name girls in some of these houses that have low grades and some girls in houses with lower grades that have higher grades. This is a stupid thing to rank houses on because it is all individual. PNMs, (if they aren’t complete idiots) are going to join a house where they can find their forever best friends and sisters, not a house that ranks in the top of the grades. If the house is both, that’s awesome! If not, it doesn’t matter! Just because you join a house with higher grades doesn’t mean that you will make higher grades yourself. Grades are based on your own intellect and your own work ethic, not which letters you wear!

I am not an AXO, and my house is somewhere in the middle for grades. I have a 4.0 and it is because of my own hard work, not because of what house that I am in. All PAN houses have different things they do to encourage and help girls study (study hours, tutoring, etc.) This is why girls in PAN have an overall higher gpa than the girls that are not in PAN. It is wrong to tear girls and houses down because of their overall house grades because it really does not matter. There are girls in every chapter, regardless of how it lines up, that work hard and make good grades. Quit trying to tear girls down because it makes you look bad, not the girls that are houses that don’t have as good of grades. If you are a PNM, don’t pledge a house based on how the grades line up (not that many PNMs look at it anyway, but just in case) because that is not what being in a sorority is about. Being in a sorority is about finding community and sisterhood with girls that will push you to be a better version of yourself. Look for a house that you can feel that in, and you’ll love every minute of it!

To add on- if that house has good grades, then that is a bonus! If not, it is also fine! Different houses have different strengths- find the one where YOU feel most at home! :)

Is that what you did? You accepted a bid because it was the only one you got and the house had a lousy record on grades. So you decided to get on here and try to convince incoming freshmen that grades were unimportant. Well, good for you, AXO. If they believe you, then they deserve to be in your house and btw you won't ever e able to raise your chapter's grades.
