tiers?
by: UmmmmmI read a lot on here about a house being a “top tier” or “bottom tier” but what even determines where a house sits on that spectrum? It seems pretty superficial

Tiers are mainly based on strength of nationals and amount of legacies. The top 5 (DDD, PBP, KKG, XO, KAT) have the strongest nationals and the most legacies of the houses on campus. Because of this, they all consistently recruit the top PNMs. People can hate all they want on these houses but it won’t change how strong they are. These houses will also provide the most alumni connections.

You do realize that the houses you call Top 5 aren’t top 5 at other colleges. So your theory on legacies and nationals is false.
I do agree several of those houses listed are considered top but several are not

There is a girl (some Chi O) who posts on here a lot about Chi O. She's pretty predictable in how she writes though she does try to change it up you can still tell it's her. Anyway, if you are going to pick a house based on what you read on greek rank (terrible idea) just realize that this Chi O girl doesn't post the truth. Everybody is sick and tired of her but she just keeps on posting so you'll see her work if you're on greek rank much (another terrible idea)

Just saw one of her posts asking which house had the best return rate (hint: no one knows regardless of what they say) and she said it was Chi O! If you've ever been a rho chi you know that isn't true even if you don't know the rates.

I see the chi o self rank all the time.. but let’s not misconstrue this! They are not a bottom tier house, and even if they’re on their way I are still far from it. The post that one of the commenters talks about on the returns rates, not a single comment mentions chi o, I went back and checked. They’re annoying & perpetuate themselves BUT we are feeling into it. Let’s stop.

We call them Rho Gs actually. But she's right. If you are in a sorority you know that only Panhellenic knows the return rates. You might be told the rates for your house not that they mean all that much.

We all knew you were going to do this when you posted your original question. People don't hate on those houses, and especially Chi O since no one that actually goes to OU would ever say Chi Omega is a top house. That's just laughable. Everyone above you was playing nice, Chi O. Too bad you just can't play nice too.
