hazing in sororities

Not gonna lie, hazing is the only thing I’m legitimately worried about with joining a sorority. I don’t want anyone to bash specific houses bc then things get messy, but does hazing actually happen at OU in the realm of sororities? If so, how bad is it?

A little in a few houses, but nothing bad. One sorority, after big little, bans all freshman from going to bars that are 21+ even if they have a fake, because they want them to learn their place. Nothing that puts pleges in harm or hurts them though!

While hazing is an issue with IFC, you have nothing to worry about with Pan. I'm an upperclassman and have been around a while, and this isn't an issue with our chapters. If you ever did feel uncomfortable with something older members asked of you, take it to your president/exec and if they were involved then take it to Panhellenic. But I promise this is nothing to worry about. Recruitment is the only scary thing to get through!

There is literally no hazing in Pan so nothing to worry about!
