spring transfer cob

I’m transferring in the spring and want to know more about spring recruitment. I know yall are focused on fall receuitment, but im starting to think about this stuff now. I don’t know anyone at OU so what are my chances at getting invited to COB events? Do I need letters of recs still? I know it’s mostly middle tier houses that do it, which is perfectly fine with me, but about how many houses do this? Just any info on the process would be helpful. Thanks!

Most of the houses do COB from time to time but it's rarely a big deal. Mostly you have to already know someone at the house that's really pulling for you. It's all pretty hush hush and you'll see on here that some houses refuse even to admit that they do COB.

In my house (we took one girl last spring), we invited her to classics with a group and later to dinner with a group to get to know her. After that we extended a bid. Can't tell you everything, of course, but you get the idea. Not lots of parties with lots of girls or anything. We know who we wanted and we knew she wanted us.
