recommendation letters

I am going to be rushing in the fall for a sorority. What is the truth about recommendation letters and how important they are.

For some houses Recs are really important. I can’t tell you which houses because i’m not in all of them but i think generally a good rule of thumb is to at least get one rec for each house. I tried to get 2 for the houses i was interested in just because if one person forgets to send it in you have a back up. There were some houses i didn’t get and didn’t get cut from but i would strongly advise getting them.

you should definitely get recs for the houses that you are most interested in. some houses will not take you if you don’t have the recs, even if they like you during recruitment so i would be rather safe than sorry and get them done now if possible

one per house is good! Just make sure the alumni send it in.
