which sororities take grades seriously?

I’ve heard Theta takes school and grades seriously. What other houses are known for academics and stressing studying and serious majors?

most of them do, especially top 5. it makes you stand out more to them above other PNMs. sororities try to recruit girls that will make them look good

Thanks- my parents are spending a lot on school and while I want to make friends and have fun I also want to join a group who also want to do well and have a great career when school is over. I don’t think I would fit in with girls who just want to party.

honestly every sorority is going to have girls that like to party and girls that are more focused on academics, so in any house you’re going to find girls that are like you

Theta is known as the most academic house, but Tri Delt also stresses grades a lot and is usually 2nd in grades behind Theta

Alpha omicron pi has recently changed their grade requirement and they’re also know for having a lot of 4.0 girls

At the new student orientation this summer they gave out a sorority/frat booklet. In that there is a section that shows whether each house has an above average gpa for OU as a whole and within Panhellenic. Great resource to answer this question.

Above average: chi omega, delta delta delta, gamma phi beta, kappa alpha theta, kappa kappa gamma, pi beta phi

Below average: alpha chi omega, alpha gamma delta, alpha omicron pi, alpha phi, delta gamma
