recruitment letters
by: PNM - sororityPNM here... how important are recruitment letters? I have recruitment letters lined up for 7 out of the 11 houses, but I am missing letters for two of my top three. Will they still consider me even if I’m missing a letter? (High gpa, excellent high school involvement, multiple internships, I’d like to think I’m cute)

Definitely shoot for as many rec letters as you can get. But if you can get your hands on some letters of support definitely take advantage of that. I would 100% say rec letters are more important than letters of support but getting both puts you at a better advantage because they can work hand in hand. Some sororities are known in the past for requiring both not sure if that is still true today though.

I would say try your hardest to get the recs for most of the houses! Especially houses that you are interested in! Check and see if your town has a panhellenic alumni board! They can put you in contact with someone to write a rec! I also recommend posting on facebook the houses you need and having family share it!!
