spring rush

Okay so houses who are available to spring rush were announced at the spring rush meeting tonight. It was said that these houses were AVAILABLE to spring rush not that all of them were going to. Basically i guess they don't have to, they just didn't meet quota from fall rush so they can if they want to.
- Alpha Phi
- Pi Phi
- Delta Gamma
- Alpha Gamma Delta
- Alpha Omnicron Pi

keep in mind these were just the houses they said were available to spring rush, whether they actually all will idk.

Yes those are the houses that can elect to do spring recruitment. No it's not true that they didn't make quota. I don't know about any of them personally but they may have had a lot of girls graduate early or go to the hsc for nursing or something. Afaik every house made quota last fall.

pi phi had girls graduate early/transfer therefore making them under quota. However, this years' PC had 83 girls which is right where its supposed to be. They will not be Spring Rushing

To elaborate fall quota has nothing to do with where a group stands in regards to TOTAL. Any group under the median group size (total) can “rush” up to that number. Basically 5 groups are eligible after the number is set by pan. This also happens in the fall. They just call it COB usually in the fall. But that is basically what Spring rush is. A great opportunity to share the sisterhood experience outside of the pressure cooker of formal recruitment. Go girls!

These are the only houses that pan will allow to take additional members:
- Alpha Phi
- Pi Phi
- Delta Gamma
- Alpha Gamma Delta
- Alpha Omicron Pi

These houses are not required to recruit up to total but may at their discretion. Most will not take many girls because all the houses made quota in the fall. Call pan if you have a question.
