Lambda Chi has been the most prestigious fraternity to belong to for decades. Over 90% of rushees list Lambda Chi as their goal but since they can pick and choose from thousands they are also the toughest to get a bid and bid less than 10%. If you get a bid from Lambda Chi you have won the lottery!, and have a membership to meeting the social elite at OU

Part of this is true but I know some guys who would NEVER be considered for Lambda but had a connection and got in. It may be considered elite but there are also guys who don’t belong. And wouldn’t even be considered for beta, sig ep or ato.
Lambda= Douche bag house.

LXA is a weak fraternity nationally. Hilarious that they are good at OU. Not thiought of as one of the “old line” fraternities anywhere. Lmao.

Actually Lambda Chi is considered “top tier» at more schools than the next 3 fraternities COMBINED! Lambda Chi also has the most current active members attending school by a wide margin over any other fraternity.

My cousin is in a sorority at USC Southern Cal. Lambda Chi is the top fraternity there in a class by themselves. Sigma Chi is next but no where near the prestige of Lambda Chi, Sigma Nu is middle tier there, PIKE is lower middle tier and KS is a complete joke at USC probably the bottom of the bottom tier. I agree with the original poster Lambda Chi is considered top tier or top fraternity at more Universities than the next 5 fraternities combined.

Lambda at USC has a permanent group of Paparazzi hoping to catch one of it famous celebrity members or son of a celebrity. Lambda has also been the home for the starting Quarterback of the football team for decades.
