rushing as a sophomore transfer

by:

I graduated HS in ‘17 so I’d technically be a Jr, but I took a year off for health reasons/travel, so academically I’m a Soph. Anyway, I’m tranferring to OU in the fall and would love to rush, but nervous because I’m older. Part of me says I could probably do it since I’m prominent on social media and have money (lets be real, sororities are shallow during rush) and another part of me says forget it, they only want freshmen. I have plenty of recs from alumni for Theta, DDD, Alpha Phi, Chi O, and Pi Phi, but I’m still nervous about it. Advice/Opinons? Oh, and I have a 3.4 college gpa if you care.

It would be a little awkward since girls in your Pc will be 18-19 but no reason not to try and rush, couple of seniors and juniors rush

I say go for it! It's kind of rare to rush as a junior, but not unheard of at all! And since you're considered a sophomore, that's fairly common. It may be harder to get a bid from the top houses but not impossible.
