texas out of state students

Why do so many Texas students choose to go to OU? I'm genuinely curious.

Lots of kids want to go out of state and OU is great bc it’s a good school academically and offers scholarships (which they are generous for out of states) it’s pretty much the same cost as attending A&M and their Greek Life is huge

The campus is beautiful, national merit scholarships, great academics and one of the best greek scenes in the country. What more could you ask for? haha

Losers basically. Rejects from any decent Texas university. It’s out of state but close to mommy. Spare me the bs about OU great academics and beautiful campus. GMAFB

Seems like some UT/ATM students regret their decision and have to come troll here to make themselves feel better. Sad!
