fake recommendations
by: oosI live 1289 miles away from OU and I really want to rush and get a bid to one of the top five houses. I know that these houses want you to have good looks and a high gpa which I have but I don’t have connections or recommendations from alumna. Would it be a good idea to write recommendations myself and send them to the houses I’m interested in or is this a no go?

You literally can't do this lol. In order to write a rec, you have to have access to the sorority's website and you have to login with your alumna info, then you have access to write the rec. You can't write a rec on any piece of paper lmao, it has to be on a specific form from each sorority, which only alumnae have access to.
I would suggest to join the groupmes or Facebook pages for your upcoming freshman class and ask if anyone has parents who would be willing to write the rec. Also, I'm not sure if you're aware, but the recommendations don't have to be from people who went to OU. As long as someone was in the sorority at any college, they can write your rec. so it really shouldn't be that hard to find a few. Just ask around.
