sororities- top half

I went to OU last year. I didn't realize how big greek life is at OU. Some stuff on this site is right, and some is totally wrong. I am going through recruitment in the fall too. There are 11 sororities. The top half, in no order is:
Kappa
Phi Pi
Theta
Chi O
Tridelta
Alpha Phi
All the others are easy to get into and they spring recruit too, but I'm hoping to get a bid from one of the top houses ( the best didn't spring recruit)- but some in the top half do. The highest houses don't though, but all of these are the top half. Hope this helps!

Please start respecting Chi Omega and making sure they are always given their proper place in the top 3 sororities at OU greekrank. They have worked hard for it. Their pledge class may suck, but they have worked hard for their greekrank ranking and deserve to get it. So the new rankings are:

I am certain Alpha Phi is doing this. Much like they are posting all the wonderfully positive threads about themselves. It couldn't possibly be someone trying to make them look bad. No one ever lies or misrepresents on here.

1) You would think that since a girl hasn't yet gone through rush, she wouldn't be ranking sororities.
2) Who the crap cares if a house spring recruits. Whoever thinks that makes a house look bad, isn't looking to be in a sorority for the right reasons, which should be sisterhood and always trying to find other girls with the same values and expand your sisterhood.
3) Girls are so rude and hateful.
4) Go through rush and when you get cut from every house, don't be surprised because of your attitude.
I might be wrong, but girls are crazy!

The original poster was sort of weird about her rankings. No need to post your personal feelings on greekrank. It is practically impossible not to have a LOT of preconceived notions going through rush as a sophomore and ranking accordingly before rush. However it is not smart to only be looking for a bid to a top house. This goes for freshman as well.

I'm the sophomore who wrote this post. I didn't join a house in the spring because I am hoping to get into one of the top houses so I've waited til now. Alpha Phi and all the other houses ( not listed ) do spring recruitment. If I don't get into one of the top 5 I wouldn't mind Alpha Phi. They have fun pretty girls. I may drop though if I don't get one of the top houses or them.

You're right! All kinds of girls were upset and crying each day during recruitment last year. Tons of girls got cut from KKG, KAO, DDD, XO and PBP but after a few days the girls were all happy where they ended up.

It's so easy to believe if you write the original post yourself. Maybe you should have noticed that no one commented on it when you posted it back on July 7th. That's because everyone that is reading this knows your "top half" has two houses that don't belong and one that does belong is left out.
