Honestly to get into a top chapter you really need to know someone from your hometown or in surrounding towns that would be pulling for you. Reputation is everything. If you had a bad rep in highschool those girls probably won't pull for you. Its honestly who you know.That doesn't mean that if you aren't from oklahoma that you won't get a good chapter, girls stalk social media as well for prospective girls. Social media prescence matters a. Make sure you have a clean instagram but stand true to yourself. You don't want to be something your not and get into a house that you don't fit into. I would say most of the decisions the houses make are decided before rush even starts, but being outgoing and good conversations will help.

I agree ^^^!! Having a good rush is honestly all about connections. A house is more likely to want you if there are girls in the house that know and like you. If no one knows who you are, it's harder to stand out. It's true that most of the top houses know what girls they want before rush even starts, because of legacies, resumes, rec letters, connections, social media, etc. It is important to have GREAT academics and a lot of involvement if you want a top 5 house!!! During rush, make sure to be very friendly and outgoing, keep the conversations going, and be respectful of ALL houses!
