top half ranking and explanations

top 3
tri delt: i've been seeing a lot of hate on here about tri delt recently, and yes they had a weird PC the last couple of years, but they did really well in rush this year. they consistently get a handful of beautiful and involved girls, and they got a lot of top recruits this year
kappa: kappas are def the mean, cliquey girls. they're not known for their sisterhood or their grades or anything, but they continue to be a top house because of its set reputation as OU's number one house for both oklahoma and texas girls. whether they deserve it or not, they will continue to be in ou's top for a while.
theta: theta's are known for being academic (though they cheat on grades) and christian (though many of them have accumulated the black theta reputation). they continue to be a top house no matter how scooby people think they are because they continuously get top oklahoma pnm's. their rush wasn't that great this year and they had to extend their party numbers, but a lot of top girls went theta.
top 5
chi o: like tri delt theres a lot of hate with chi os because theyre not known for being involved or smart and have a party girl reputation, but they continue to get a lot of top texas pnms and still make major cuts every year despite the hate u see on greekrank. another house not known for anything except for daddy's name and their name, but they're still up there.
pi phi: this is a top house that continuously recruits involved, talented girls, and still holds a good reputation on campus. however, the past two years have seen a decline, and they didn't meet quota this year. this does not necessarily mean that pi phi is no longer a top house, as most people i know regard them as one, but it does mean they're going through a bump right now and tri delt's rise to the top pushed pi phi out of the top 3
top 7
alpha phi: yes we know their reputation, but they get a large pc full of beautiful girls and their rush statistics are not as low as people want to claim. everyone boasts that no one wants a phi going in, but presented with other options/during rush it's common to hear of people excited for it. they put on a good rush and their pcs are only improving
g phi: some claim g phis deserve to be top five and hate when they're ranked next to alpha phi, but the truth is the ranking system is stupid and though g phi does a lot to deserve top ranks, they're not seen as a top house during rush or on campus. however, they're recognized for their involvement and academics and nice, if not a little weird, girls
the rest i don't really have explanations for why they're there, they just are.
if anything i see the top houses barely hanging on to their reputation and holding on to their namesake to push them through, and middle houses with valid winning traits not top simply because their pc's don't always match the 'top' house mold.
every house on campus has people who love it and people who hate it, and now more than ever the ranking system is built on 'how it's always been' or what girls want during rush. maybe that'll change soon who knows

This was a good review except I would add DG and AXO in there with APhi and GPhi based off this years' pledge classes. AXO & DG had great recruitments and got a lot of really cool, smart girls. I think XO and Pi Phi are barely holding on to their top 5 spots, if not already out of the top 5, and we will see the middle tier houses moving their way up into the Top 5.
It's nice to see a more real review on here with actual valid points.

Here we go with another DDD trying to promote themselves as top 3 and hilariously ranked themselves #1 Tri Delt is not in the top 3, they're just not I agree with some of the points that you made about each house, but people in the OU greek system do not see Tri Delt as a top 3 house, no matter how hard they try to push that on greek rank

this is my first post abt it, but of course tri delts care that they didn’t make u sing nobody will probably even notice though since they’re already so irrelevant on campus Tri Delt is a ghost sorority at OU b/c nobody even knows they’re around

I know several kappas in this year's pledge class who might drop because they're so unhappy with all of the continued high school mean girl crap. They might stick it out, but not sure yet

I’m not a Tri Delt and don’t think they’re honestly that relevant on campus but I do know that out of the 11 houses on campus many girls like Tri Delt and they make big cuts every year. Definitely it number one on campus but I’d say at least top 5 for sure. Who would your top 3 be?
