recruitment

I need to get off of this toxic site, but I feel like there is a lot of frank truth that houses do not share during recruitment. I am a sophomore who has been preparing months for recruitment with average grades, and involvement. I also know quite a few sorority women, but are not very close with most of them. It makes me sad that I truly want to rush (not because of friends, parents) and people will not see me fully because of my class standing. Are sororities really that cut throat to get people all four years?
