wake up call
by: FraternitiesAll the fraternities at OU haze. Frats are providing alcohol to under age members. Also, all the houses are making pledges clean the house and making them stay up until 2:30 or 3:00 am. Some houses use physical abuse or are having pledges do the elephant walk. Members are texting pledges to bring them Sharpies, etc. All hazing needs to stop!!! People you are kidding yourself if your think it is not happening! When will the Univerrity and Chapters do away with members being in charge of pledges.

Hazing depends from house to house. Some are really bad about it, some not so much. During rush it's difficult to see who's bad about it, however, if you just ask around it's easy to find out. Guys who go into rush know that hazing exists and should prepare for it. Houses that go to far with hazing should be punished accordingly. As for KA, we'll have to wait and see with what actually happened.

The problem is they want to be in a fraternity but do not want anyone telling them what to do! I agree if you do not like it just quit but that is not what is happening now. Some houses have done away with study hall hours because Nationals consider it a form of hazing.

If nationals went in to any house at OU they would shut them down due to everything that is considered hazing. The problem is we are the snowflake generation going through Rush now and they cannot take any form of criticism.
