by: FYIs for PNMsIt's important that PNMs know that Kappa and Tri Delt have sleeping porches for sophomores and that Thetas generally can't move in the house until their junior year. You won't hear about any of this during recruitment, but the fact that as a sophomore Theta you will have to find off-campus housing or that as a KKG or DDD sophomore you won't have an actual room in the house. Something to think about when choosing houses.

Someone seems pretty desperate to influence PNMs not to choose Kappa, Tri Delta, Theta, or Gamma Phi. I'm not sure who the Alphas are -- there is a house with that nickname but it's not a panhellenic house.
The reason they're desperate is because the sororities named placed in just about everything last year. They all had great recruitments, and did well in shows, grades, and president's trophy. Kappa won, Theta came in second, and Tri Delta, Gamma Phi, and Pi Phi won special recognition.
I agree with #4. Choose the house where you feel most comfortable with the girls. All of the houses the original poster is slamming are the actual top houses at OU. So don't worry about where you're sleep. You'll go to sleep happy and proud at any of those houses.

Yeah, I imagine that they were glad to see the last of you after day one. Don't be so bitter, though. Learn to love your own house and stop running down the others.
