Theta has best grades!

Chi O/ A Phi get off here. No one had A Phi and Chi O along with Tri Delta and Pi Phi. I'm in one of those houses and I don't ever remember having any girls from A Phi and only a scattering from Chi O. Those girls do not go to top house prefs. You'll know how true this is by the number of comments you see saying "I'm an A Phi and I was at Theta for pref but liked A Phi so much better," or "I'm a Chi O. It was hard to choose but I bonded with them more than Kappa." It's all bs.

Why do Chio and Aphi think people are gonna believe they're top houses just because they keep saying it.They're ok but not houses anybody came to OU to be a part of.

the people leaving these messages sound like they got cut by aphi or chi o lmao...like seriously does no one have anything better to do than leave hate?! I know girls in theta/kappa and chio/aphi and the ONLY difference between the two during rush was that kappa and theta took girls that had better resumes, grades, and recs while chi o and aphi took/valued girls with personality and genuineness rather than base there pc on girls with a good “reputation”...overall each house has something good to offer

here’s the thing, everything is a matter of opinion. Certain girls go certain houses by choice. While other girls go because they didn’t have anything else. At the end of the day all that matters is that you end up where you fit in the best. Kappa and Theta are known as the top of the top because they get girls who are really well known and rounded. The girls that have good instas, reps and a social life. That doesn’t mean that tri delt, chi o, pi phi and the rest of the houses don’t get girls like that too, they do. Most of the time Kappa and Theta just have the majority of those girls and they have a reputation of top houses so it appeals to more girls. Ranking the houses isn’t really fair, they all have something to offer and i think they all appeal some sort of personality/ group. All in all each house fits for a certain type of person. It’s okay if your house isn’t kappa or theta or even the top 5. You fit in and love it and that’s all that matters. and with the house standings right now pc 18 overall has been a great group of girls and every house got an outstanding pc. So i’d say the rankings will change. Everyone should be on their A game bc the girls will only get better from here:)

I think that rankings are hard because not all houses recruit the same type girls. Like I agree that Kappa takes more girls that connected like they were saying above. Theta takes seriously academic girls that are also well rounded. Tri Delta and G Phi take more girl next door type with Tri Delta being ahead of G Phi. Pi Phi takes a more random mix of beauties, girls next door, smart, barely making it, etc. DG, AXO, XO, and A Phi fight over the rest of the pack. DG won last year, can't tell about this year, but XO and AXO do well with girls with some flash. A Phi recruits stongly for attractiveness and don't care about the rest. AOP and AGD sort out the remaining girls and each houses gets some good ones each year.

When you see these ratings a lot of times you can tell the bias of the ranker by how high she puts the flashy middle houses. You can tell how they value academics by how high they rate Theta. Same goes for connections, and for personality and well roundedness.

So just be who you are and don't worry about it. You're in the right place now, just have fun and of course study hard!

I personally cut theta and kappa after round 2. I was not impressed at all. I kept a phi, chi o, pi phi, tri delt and DG over what some people consider “top houses.” I got cut from Tri Delt and Kappa had moved up so I visited them for house tours. I did not like the whole sleeping porch situation and with theta, i knew i wanted to cut them early on bc of the rule being that you cant live in until junior year.
