can i rush as a junior?

by: ..

I just have tons of credits but am considered a junior. I will still have 3 years left at OU, though because some of my credits will not transfer. I know like 5 girls in a couple different sororities who I’m friends with

You are allowed to go through recruitment as long as you are a student. You should check with your friends and let them know that you are interested and ask them if their house is interested in you.

Juniors are even more discluded then sophomores in sorority recruitment. Maybe tell them your situation if you know your friends so they can pass the word along to their COB chair. Good luck!

COB is your best bet as a sophomore or a junior. IMHO unless you know someone with serious influence in a house, formal isn’t worth the time or money. COB is open fall and spring. Let Pan know you are interested and as the person above said, have your friends give your contact info to their COB chairs.

There was one girl in my group this year who was a Junior and only had one house on the second day, she was an outstanding candidate for any house, but she got cut from that second house after sisterhood day. It is just extremely difficult.
