top 5 sororities

All through the week I heard about the “top 5.” Is that really a thing or just something legacy or well connected PNMs make up to intimidate other girls?

top 5 is referring to what could be considered the best houses. The top houses are theta, chi o, kappa, pi phi, tri delt. they are just the most well known houses. some people will try to say that some of these aren’t top houses but that’s what is normally precieved as the top houses. i personally say think that the “top 5” is a real thing but i’m sure someone will say differently lol.

Top 5 is a real thing. Within the top 5, there is a big 3. The big three are kappa, tridelt and theta. Pi phi and chi o are still better than the other houses, but not quite up to par with these three.

The top 5 are : Kappa, Chi o, Theta, Tri Delt, Pi Phi
That’s the solid top tier of houses. No way to say which house within top 5 is better than another. At that point it’s personal choice. All are top & get the best of the best.

It depends on where you are from as far as your top 3. A Texas girl would probably never rank Theta or DDD over Pi Phi. But, yes a top 5.

It’s all based off your opinion but they’re generally perceived to be kappa, theta, chi o, Tridelt, and pi phi.
