by: smAm I REQUIRED to list all houses at the end of today's parties (maximizing my options) - even if I know for a fact that I'm not interested in one of them? I was under the impression that I had to, but there are several conversations on this board about the PNMs "cutting" sororities. Help!

Probably you won't get any house because you for sure don't deserve to be in either of these houses. AGD just got a brand new beautiful house and AOP is full of darling quirky creative girls. You sound boring and stuck on yourself. So please suicide. I'm sure they have you on their second lists and you might end up in one of those great houses and make those nice girls miserable.

Ask your Rho Gam. As far as I know you give up your guarantee of a bid after Pref. And could end up without any parties for pref, or without a bid on bid day. You would have to be at the top of that groups final list before they hit quota to get a bid.
All the sororities are great. I have friends in them all. They all enjoy being in their sorority.

I know a girl that was in your same shoes last year, pledged one that you don’t want, she didn’t either. But she stuck it out and has a leadership position and great friends! What you are seeing is just a snapshot of the house. There are so many girls, if you can’t make friends, the problem then lies with you.

You should honestly be lucky that those sororities want you with an attitude like that. There are girls who didn't make it to this round that those houses cut because they wanted you. Be more appreciative...
