hazing

I wanna rush this fall, but I also don't want to get hazed. If I ask a brother if they haze and he says no, should I trust him? Also, I was thinking about wearing chubbies, sperrys and a patagonia shirt to rush. Will that help me get a bid from a top house

Beta, Fiji, Delt and Lamda definitely haze. You should be yourself and not be dressing a certain way if you usually do not wear chubbies, Patagonia and sperrys. You wear khaki shorts and OU t-shirts the first two days anyway.

None of those houses (or any other houses) haze. It's against IFC rules and they'd get kicked off campus.

Honestly, everyone on here is bsing you. EVERY fraternity hazes, some are just worse than others. Even the christian fraternity got in trouble for hazing. There are very few houses that will even let you have a dry pledgship. That being said, hazing bonds you with your PC and if you're too much of a wimp don't rush IFC or just be very careful which house you pledge. Also, hazing isn't just about drinking or beating you up -- they also take up tons of time with house cleans and mandatory study hours. It will be hell, but it'll be worth it. Good luck bro

Not wanting to get hazed doesn’t make you wimp just throwing that out there, it just shows that being in a frat or in most instances that particular frat isn’t for you, and they all haze
