yes u can show up with none, some require it so if you don't have one they will write one for u. try and get as many as u can

You can take your chances. It's true that if a house wants you and you don't have a rec, they'll call around and try to get one for you. The chance thing comes when they have several girls that have all about the same scores and they can't take them all. If you already have a rec you have a better chance. They'll invite you back and release the girls without recs.
