group number on bid card
by: :)What does the group number on your bid card mean? I had group number 40, but I was in walking group 3. Is this what number I was ranked on my house's list of pnms?

No, it is not a ranking. Not even the house knows what the rankings are. Only a couple of people in each house know the order but it doesn't mean anything anyway and no one cares. The number is just to help panhellenic stay organized for bid day. You got a bid! Congrats!
