even some girls in top houses want to drop. by your second or third year you'll realize that if you haven't found genuine people that you can at the very least tolerate, you're wasting your time. don't rush a house because some snotty bitter sorority girl made a list on greek rank. if you can't find people that you like, you're just spending an absurd amount of money and wasting potential time to be around people you actually want to be around. by the time youre a junior, the only people that even care about rankings are the thirsty freshman. anyone else who does has something very wrong with them

Maybe girls are dropping your house but they're not dropping mine. I guess you wasted your time and money on your snotty bitter sisters. Luckily I was able to get rid of Chi O the 2nd day.

In a house where my family is consumed by their boyfriends. As a freshman, that’s not my top priority. I’ve been very active and hung out with my pc but can’t seem to mesh with the other girls. I’m very outgoing and make friends easily so don’t know what to do.

Have tried, at this point everything is so new for everyone, girls are sticking close to families. Hard not to feel left out, believe me I’ve tried. Ring blacked out of bars and making a fool of myself is not my thing so the search will continue. What happens if you drop a sorority once you have been initiated?

It's silly to think there are no girls in your house that don't get blacked out at bars (latest excuse) or spend all their time with their boyfriends (first excuse.) You need to learn to make friends. Practice now in your house. This is your only chance for a sorority. You've been initiated so it's over. Get to know girls until you find ones that are like you.

Once you are initiated you cannot join another national sorority. Period end of story. If you have not been initiated then you can drop and wait one recruitment cycled.

People who chose a house based on what greek rank says about it often find they've been duped and want to drop out because they aren't happy.
