by: littyi know rush is super stressful, honestly i've been there and i get it too. but really ou has great houses and great sisterhood and pnms, y'all are gonna be just fine, even if you're initially disappointed with your bids. we've got really great sororitys and there's a lot of love and success in our panhellenic system. so just take a deep breath cause you're all gonna be fine and find your fit.

The orig post is true but I want to add that no one feels at home immediately. Let's be honest. Even on bid day you only know a few of the girls in your new house. It's a little strange. It's up to you to put yourself out to meet new people and get involved. Yeah, you're tired after the week ends, but think how tired the actives are. They've been at it a week longer than you have. So work at making your new house your home even if you feel a bit strange and like it may not be the "right fit." I guarantee you'll be glad you did.
