Is it worth going through formal recruitment as a Junior?

If you have good friends in a house and they really want you you may get in. Go through with no expectations and you won't be disappointed if it doesn't work out.

Formal recruitment is very difficult, especially for juniors. Even with friends it will be difficult to keep you as their national policy might not even take people that age.

I would just wait to COB or spring, because you'll probably get the same houses anyway and you won't have to go through the tough and exhausting process
