what is delta gamma like at oklahoma?
by: dgIm a delta gamma legacy, and im just curious because im going to be rushing this fall. im going into it with an open mind and i will form my own opinion in the end. But what is is like generally in terms of sisterhood, partying , philanthropy etc? Thank you!

Some good and some bad. They're not one of the houses that girls really want coming into recruitment because they are not very successful in any area. There are some nice girls and some exceptionally wild girls, so they're kind of a mixed bag and so they don't get along together all that well. They have a kind of sloppy rep if you know what I mean. I really considered them because one of my good friends is a DG legacy. I ended up dropping them though because of what my boyfriend said about their rep. Im just being honest and so I want to also add that their class this year was better than Alpha Chi's which is who they compete with. So they are definitely on the upswing and my DG friend is happy. So go for it.

the person above is wrong. I am a dg and we all get along great. there's such a wide variety of girls in our house that you will definitely find a group of girls that you love. last year, we won president's trophy for being so involved on campus, so i don't know where you got the idea that we don't excel at anything. DG does not compete with anyone, except occasionally GPhi (pan love though). I love DG and you will too. come to greek discovery day!

if you ask anyone on campus what they think of dg's they'll say that they are really nice girls. there aee groups of them that go out a lot but there are girls that don't at all. definitely one of the most diverse houses and sometimes they don't get along bc of that but mostly great girls that will hang out with other girls in other houses too. there are good and bad girls in every house don't let this website trick you. they also raised the most money for soonerthon out of every sorority, so they are dedicated girls

Hotness is such a stupid concept. Most girls look for sisterhood over hot girls.

I am coming to Oklahoma this fall as a transfer junior. I am wanting to rush, so I can get involved quickly and hopefully make great friends. I realize that rushing as a junior will not be the easiest, but do I still have a chance or should I forget about rushing and look for other things to get involved in.
