What are they chances of getting a bid rushing as a sophomore who plans to go to nursing school the following year?

Do you know girls in the houses you're interested in? Do you know any of the alumnae that are involved in recruitment for any of the houses? Do you have high grades? Lots of activities? Do you look put together?

Rushed as a soph...wouldn't do it again. Even with knowing people, they look for freshman. It sucks, I'm sorry

The person Honest above was probably looking for a house to give herself the prestige that she didn't have naturally. If you're instead looking for sisterhood, you'll find it. I'd say go for it just be sure you are looking for the right thing.

Rushed as a sophomore, it makes it incredibly more challenging and more competitive. Some of the top houses will only take one to two sophomores, if any.
