If my sister is in a sorority at another school does that make me a legacy at OU? Or are my options open for other sororities?

Don't put that your sister is in a house and it won't hurt or help you regardless.

Have your sister make some calls for you and let her house know that you're coming through. Maybe she has some good friends that will help pull you through.

Don't declare legacy...only hurts chances. Try to make sister reach out to chapter that is legacy in and get in contact with them. will have a better rush

I think you can if you think you want that house. BUT be sure to tell all the other houses that you are keeping an open mind and realize that your sister's house from another school might not be for you.

I have heard from many girls who were legacies to a certain group that they were cut hard from the other groups. If your sister sends in a rec for you her group will know. If it is one that actives can't write a rec, then make sure your rec writer includes that information.

What's considered a legacy? I have an aunt and two first cousins who were kappa kappa gamma

Each house is different. You need to ask your aunt and cousins if you're a legacy and ask them to write you recs.
