standpoint on the rush process

by: Student who rushed

I'd just like to say, everyone makes rushing seem like it's all sun and rainbows. But in reality it's not. I've seen many PNM's crying over their invites and even dropping. I'm glad for those who are all doing well and are getting all the houses they wanted. But coming in as a transfer really brought down my chances of being in a house. Many houses say that everyone has an equal chance, but top tier drops right away. I don't care if I'm top or not, I just wanted to find a new home with awesome sisters. I think this whole process really brought down my self esteem and was a horrible start to a new beginning. But I guess everything works out for a reason and it's how the system works

Don't let anyone or any house define you! Only God has the right to judge you, sweet girl! You are loved by Him, and I am sure those who know you. I am sorry this happened to you. Wherever you land, make it great!
