transfer student

by: Green life

I'm transferring from ODU in Virginia as a sophomore and due to family situations I didn't have a great GPA last semester. Is that going to be a problem!? I was interested in tridelt, pi phi, aphi and kappa. My mom said sometimes sororities can take grade risks, but I'm not sure if it's every school.

my best advice for you is to just keep an open mind! most houses take a few grade risks, just some more than others. try not to worry and put your best foot forward. so many other qualities are taken into consideration besides just grades.

A Phi always has one of the lowest gpas at OU so they may be more possible

Theta, Gamma Phi, and Pi Phi have the highest grades. Tri Delt and Kappa always do better than A Phi. A Phi is always at the bottom. I'd say as a Sophomore with bad grades, you need to keep an open mind and not limit yourself. You'll be lucky to get a bid at all.

pi phi does not have top grades and they take girls with questionable reputations! So its possible you could find a connection.

Pi Phi did at least one semester last year. But I agree, usually they're not known for grades.

They don't take anyone, they're pretty selective, they've just had a couple of scandals that have hurt them some. They're right under the top tier of Theta and Tri Delta. Kappa, Gamma, and Pi Phi are all pretty much tied in popularity but are vastly different houses.
