by: Eyes openIf you are using this site as a tool to decide what house you want to be in based off rankings, tiers, and usually inaccurate comments, Greek life is not for you. This is not high school anymore, you should go in to rush looking for your new home, not your new clique. Popularity and ranking is 100% subjective, and most of the ones on this site are based off superficial attributes. Make your own opinions. You will find women of all types in EVERY house, you can not simply generalize 300 women under one label. I hate that pnms look at this site and will go into rush with a completely skewed perception of Greek life on this campus, and will thus end up in a house that may not be the best for them. You don't know what it is really like until you become a part of it, don't listen to any older friends who think they know the system, especially if they, themselves, are not members. Go into every house with an open mind and you will find where you belong. Ok that's it lol, get ready for the worst and best week of your life!

Realize there a lot of crazies on this site. There are the clairvoyant who seem to know who is posting annoymous comments. You also have the hateful comments from th girls slamming a differing opinion and last but not least the girls who hope to rush using greekrank. I would suggest you get off and trust yourself to make your own decisions.

Ranks don't matter at all. Some houses get more attention because they are outstanding in some respects. The only girls that will be comfortable in those houses are ones that are outstanding in the same respect. If you are a free spirit and are in college more for the fun, you're not going to "fit" in a house that is highly academic. When you meet the girls who recruit you, they are looking to see if you are a good fit for their house. If you're cut by a house where you thought you had a great conversation, it doesn't mean they didn't like you. It just means they determined you were not a fit or that other girls were a better fit. If you are not a "top 5 girl," you would be miserable in a top 5 house. Bottom line, you are who you are and you can't change just to try to impress other people that you got a top 5 house. So embrace whatever house loves YOU enough to think you're a good fit and want you as a sister.
