The real top five are in this order:
Tri Delta / Theta
Kappa
Gamma Phi / Pi Phi
OK, I had to post this because the girl saying ChiO as a top house is just so far off that I had to reply. She's completely clueless or she's trying to get people annoyed at Chi O and A Phi. If that's what she's doing, she succeeded. She doesn't know the order the houses are in and crams Chi O in as a top house when they're either lower middle or upper bottom. If she thinks Chi O is so great, let her post why instead of just saying it like we're all believing her (liar!).

Can someone tell me why a house like DDD is top when Alpha Phi is much prettier and never seems to be ranked very good ? I could agree with your other top houses for the most part but from the outside I would never have guessed! I'm an Alpha Phi legacy and was planning to rush so I'm kinda curious on the actual reasoning behind their poor ranking if anyone could fill me in? Thanks

Rank does not depend solely on beauty. That's a mistake that you see people make when they're not really involved with the greek community. Probably the most important things are grades, character, and involvement when you rank. A Phi always has pretty bad grades, many of the girls have a kind of sloppy reputation, and as a house they don't win anything. I know a couple of nice A Phis but they were cut by all the good houses because of grades. I hope you will look at all the houses when you go through recruitment and not just focus on your legacy house. Not just because it's A Phi -- you might love them and they might be perfect for you. But if you go in only wanting one house it's easy to be disillusioned, either because that house doesn't like you or even worse, you find you don't like them.
