It's ok to have an opinion. In my opinion the second 3 are pretty equal and different people will think those houses will rank differently.

Maybe so but I don't see them taking over at least Tri Delta and Theta. With Gamma Phi, Pi Phi, and Kappa, they're all so diff that some girl going through is just going to have to make that decision for herself. No pnm will go wrong choosing any of those 5 houses.

They have easily overtaken tri delta long long ago. The only competition they have at all is theta and they're nipping at thetas heels.

I agree Chi O is trying to start something for sure. I don't know what Gamma Phis think about how I rank them though. I can't even imagine asking them if they think XYZ house is ranked higher than them or not. What a stupid comment.

They will never carry the same weight as Kappa, Theta, DDD, or PiPhi. Those 4 have a hundred years of being the best at OU. GPB is most definitely #5 though.

I agree that those are the top five but I think Tri Delta and Theta are above the others and that Kappa, G Phi and Pi Phi are about equal. All the top five are different but they all attract the top girls. I think some people would put G Phi 3rd but some would put Pi Phi 3rd. Some oldtimers would put Kappa 3rd but they haven't done much lately. Without a doubt, though Theta and Tri Delta are the top 2.

No, I think most would put G Phi third. Some would even say they are second now but that's just a matter of opinion.

I am in a house I love and wouldn't change for anything, so don't say I'm bitter or jealous. I just know how girls viewed houses when I was going through recruitment and also two years later when I was a Rho Chi. Being a Rho Chi gives you a pretty uncensored view of how all the houses are viewed. The girls really do speak their minds. I haven't done any kind of survey and I don't think the people posting above have either (at least I haven't ever heard of a survey like that :)) but I know what I know. At least as of recruitment last August girls wanted Theta and Tri Delta the most. Gamma Phi, Kappa, and Pi Phi were in a group just below them that were also wanted but maybe not to the extent of Theta and Tri Delta. After that there was a big drop with girls going to different houses for different reasons. Believe me, I know which girls were cut by which houses and which ones broke their hearts. Just going to say that if you have a different opinion, it's pretty subjective and not based on the opinion of potential new members. I will also say that girls don't base their sorority ranks on whether guys think they're hot or not, so if you're gonna tell me that some house is hot, I say no one cares. The top sororities are filled with girls who are classy and smart most importantly, but who are put together looking, have good personalities and great resumes and involvement. So if you've got an opinion that these houses aren't the best, you're not basing it on what we base rank on.

PS I don't know who's third. It could be Gamma Phi but it could also be Kappa or Pi Phi. I think the same amount of top girls wanted each of those houses but their different and so are the girls choosing them. I'd pretty much state that without a doubt Tri Delta and Theta are the two top houses.
