There are several houses that are about equal in desirability but are attractive to different girls for different reasons.
KAT PBP GPB DDD KKG (all will have good grades, reps, personalities, activities, & looks)
AXO XO AP DG (all will have decent looks, personalities, and activities, but some will have reps that aren't as good, grades that aren't as good, or connections that aren't as good. These are usually the houses that brag about their looks instead of their accomplishments.)
AOII AGD (will have good personalities and may have excellence in other categories but not all.)
Just being honest and not trying to start anything.

So true I have never seen a more desperate house than DDD spending all their time on this site hating on ChiO. It's quite sad yet perversely funny. I know, I know, I'm a ChiO right DDD? But seriously DDD has had a bad run and it's all the fault of those ChiO gals!;)

Why does Chi O think they run the universe? This is the stupidest thing I've ever read. Tri Delt is definitely a top house and they haven't had a bad run whatever that is. They won the freakin presidents trophy last year for gawds sake! Are you saying Theta is having a bad run because they won it this year? Chi O is a lower house because they don't win anything and plus don't recruit from the same group the top houses do. Sorry. That's no one's fault but Chi Os. Get a life and stop pretending you're more important than you are.

I like this ranking because it gives specific reasons for putting various houses into tiers. I think it's completely impossible to give a ranking that puts houses in numerical order because some things appeal to one girl that don't necessarily appeal to another girl. I know girls that are more into academics and went Theta even though they're also involved in CAC committees and did U-Sing. Other girls I know are wicked talented and love shows. They took their talent to Gamma Phi but also make good grades and are in PLC. It's just where do you want to put your main emphasis. I also agree that MOST (but not all) of the girls in the second and third tiers are lacking in some area. All the houses have girls who are wonderful students, girls who are extremely involved, girls who are absolutely beautiful, and girls who are fantastic leaders. I think that's why there's so much controversy on rankings. I just happen to think that there are more girls with more ALL of those attributes in the top houses than in the lower ones.

This is perfect reasoning. If the purpose of tiers is to show which houses compete for girls, it's completely right. Chi O still competes with the houses listed but I think they are losing more girls than they used to and that's why they're so desperate on here.

2nd in 2015 Using
2016 special president's trophy award for community experience

GPB is pretty even with Pi Phi and Tri Delt. They all get academic girls that are very involved in campus activities. I'd say KKG and KAT are a step above the others, but that's just me.
