Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 2.0 I disagree, it does matter. Two individual girls having prestigious positions is not enough (case in point: AOPi). GPhi has over 100 members, 2% have gone far above and beyond the average member. On the other hand, winning an event constitutes the entire sorority going above and beyond the rest of campus. Far different scenarios. GPhi did not do well at all this past year in CAC events, so I do not believe that they are definitively (and that's the key word here) number 5. Obviously some people believe they're number 5, but in my mind they're still a mid-tier house, vying for the definitive 5th spot with Chi O, DG, and APhi. Once everyone believes with solid evidence that they're 5th, then they can start to truly challenge for top house status. But as it stands, I do not believe they are quite there yet and I'm not alone. Like I said in my last post, PC 11 and a strong showing this year will either put them over that hump or set them back two years

Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 4.5 Opinion below isn't shared by a majority at OU. PC 09 is a great group of girls, and was the start of GPHi climbing in ranks. I honestly wish I were one:( I hope my sister who's going through rush ends up in this house. They are absolutely right in saying PC 10 is awesome. GPH has cute, NICE, girls that really look out for each other. Being in a higher ranked party house isn't all that it's cracked up to be. If I had to do over again, I would have picked Theta or Gphi.

Opinion below isn't shared by a majority at OU. PC 09 is a great group of girls, and was the start of GPHi climbing in ranks. As to not winning big in events, it doesn't matter that much if you have CAC chair and Pan president like they did. They're very active so that evens out. I do agree that each pledge class counts.

Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 3.0 PC 09 kinda sucks, probably like 8th if you ranked them against other PC 09s, but PC 10 is much better; 5th or 4th against other PC 10s I would say from my experience. PC 11 will make or break this house moreso than lots of others, if its similar to PC 09 (pretty possible since GPhi didn't really do well as a whole in on-campus events and stuff of that nature), then its another few years of mid-tier but if they get more like another PC 10 and perform a lot better in events this upcoming year, they should definitively be able to take the #5 spot and start to seriously challenge the top 4. Just depends if PC 10 is the fluke, or becomes the norm for them.

Everyone who goes to OU knows g phi is nowhere in the same league as kappa pi Phi theta tri delt or chi o. Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 4.0 ...most Gamma Phi's do have one of the other top houses on pref. night. I'm in a "top house" and would def. choose them over one house in particular that's considered "top 4".
