Alpha Gamma Delta - ΑΓΔ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 4.7 This house is awesome! They are a very diverse group. They are involved in their philanthropy as well as around campus. Many of them are a part of Campus Activities Council. They also always kill it at University Sing and Scandals. Honestly just a well rounded, outstanding group of girls.

Alpha Gamma Delta - ΑΓΔ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 2.0 So I’m an alum of this chapter. I went through fall rush my freshmen year, and dropped because I just didn’t feel like i found a house that I connected with. I really really liked pi phi, and honestly regret dropping! Besides the point, I went through spring rush my second semester. Honestly, I didn’t really hear about AGD’s reputation until after they gave me a bid, literally two hours after i went to their table. Yeah, the house is super pretty. But honestly, i have no good memories of being in this chapter. Everyone says how good of a sisterhood they have, but really it is one of the most cliquey houses IMO. For being a house with a notso great rep, this doesn’t bode well. They are extremely set in their ways, and can’t retain because of that. Honestly, dropping AGD was the best decision. Super regret dropping fall rush my freshmen year, I may have found the house for me.

So sorry for your experience, but you are not an alum if you dropped. And like any other environment you get what you put into it. Some girls are naturally social. But I know girls in that house, some introverts too, that aren’t in a clique and are very happy with ΑΓΔ. And every sorority has different cliques within. . And living in usually helps you find your people. But the sorority experience is (should be) about more than fitting in with the cliques. Sounds like you would have had even a harder struggle in other groups, especially Pi Phi ( who are great, but the cliques exist in every sorority ). If you didn’t initiate I would suggest you give it another chance via COB with a different group, even as an older student. The sorority experience is worth it, but you have to engage. Go to everything. And even if you don’t fit into a clique you still have the sorority and then alum experience to share with individuals you meet as you go forward in life. It’s for more than four years.

They have been very involved on campus esp within this last year. I could not believe how many beautiful girls are in this house esp. after the reviews I read. I can only sum up the reviews from people that see these girls as a threat . They seem like an incredible tight knit group of girls that would do anything for anybody . They are a lot of fun to be around. It’s sad with the back stabbing going on in some of these houses but I truly don’t get that vibe at Alpha Gam. Hot Damn she is an Alpha Gam is very fitting.
