Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at The University of Oklahoma - OU 1.4 Unless you were a legacy, or you went to a rich kid private school, they did not put you in their pledge class. On the night before bid day they cut me after inviting me back every day before then, and the rush president said "If he didn't go to a Rich private school then he won't be able to fund our alumni program." All they care about is how big their wallets are going to get. This fraternity is all about money, not brotherhood.

I'm a Beta a couple states to the north of Oklahoma, and this statement doesn't describe me at all. I'm not rich, I'm not stuck up, and I didn't go to a private school. In fact, I pay entirely for my own college tuition, living expenses, and everything else. I get want I want through hard work and merit, not money.

Two states to the north doesn't apply to your fraternity. They are referring OU, and the priorities and pretentiousness they display. Eventually that type of attitude catches up with people and gives groups a bad reputation. Shallow!!!

Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at The University of Oklahoma - OU 3.8 Beta's are a great chapter at OU, but non-freshman need not apply. They don't want sophomores or transfer students. Unless you are a true freshman at OU don't even waste your valuable time with the Betas. There are too many other good fraternities at OU that will give a bid to a non-freshman, so spend your time with those chapters.
