so where is alpha phi headed?
by: Curious and ConfusedI know Alpha Phi is the newest chapter but are they starting out strong? I've definitely seen a couple pictures of some pretty girls who joined but still can't tell. How big is their first pledge class?

Their girls are pretty, down to earth and social. I think by being selective they're going to rise a lot quicker than ADPi did and chances are their girls are going to get along a lot better too. I don't think they could ever rival the traditional top tier but I wouldn't be surprised if within the decade they become oos pnm's first choice.

The continuous APhi bashing shows how threatening APhi is to some other groups. If APhi didn't matter there would not be so many threads and posts. The fact is that the new APhi chapter at Ole Miss is really great and will attract many pnms in formal recruitment.
You are not going to bring APhi down. A better suggestion for you would to be to spend some effort on your chapter to improve your self image and experience.

absolutely not. they got a good first pledge class because they could choose only the girls they thought would better their image. but now that they are going to be doing formal recruitment, they are going to have to take all of the leftovers and the weird girls that no other chapters want. if they don't, then they'll never make quota and they'll close.

The only people "bashing" Alpha Phi are the lower tier groups that have a weird obsession with them. The upper tier chapters are cool and get what Alpha Phi is trying to do and will always support their growth on campus.
