sorority rush

by: Pnm

I am going to be an oos transfer and an wanting to rush. I am 20 but I had a baby in high school and still do. Will I get a bid or should I not even bother wasting my time? I am pretty and have a great personality.

You have more important things to do with your life. Devote your time to raising your child. The sorority boat has already sailed. You will not get a bid if you rush.

Yeah. Just ask the Ddd active who was forced to take alumni status after she had her little bundle of joy.

I doubt any house will allow mothers to be actives.

Your time (and money) are better spent elsewhere

I hope to high hell this is a joke. I agree with all above. I would judge the hell out of a pledge who was doing silly pledge things when their mother was taking care of their baby. Also if you lie about it at rush and it comes out..... people wil hate you without knowing you. Baby > sorority.
Seriously this has to be a joke?

I agree with everyone. And this really has to be a joke/troll. Example I'm an active here and my best friend from high school had a baby, graduated, took a year off and now goes here. She spends all of her time in class, studying, working and taking care of her child. Maybe once a month I talk her into going out. She has maybe 2 drinks and leaves. Also my sisters and roommates respect the hell out of her.

You can;t be a mother and pledge at the same time. Or an active.....
sorority houses are not day care. I would not be friends with the "struggling single mother". Good for her I guess.

She was clearly saying her friend was not in a sorority and doing the right thing for her baby. Also that her friends and sisters respect her for that.
