I want to transfer from my school in the south to Ole Miss & I really want to rush! I know Ole Miss is a little more traditional, so I was wondering if I should bother rushing since I'm black? I know plenty of alum to write recs & I have a 3.4 gpa. Will this increase my chances? Thanks!

Your race won't be a factor. Being a transfer student might hurt you.

Your grades are good. that's a plus.

Youll be fine. It's more you being a transfer student which will hurt. Traditionally there are more transfer students and minorities in Theta and ADPi as they're more accepting of everyone.
