So if we aren't allowed to follow any actives now or friend them on any social media, how are we supposed to get our names known and out there? I keep hearing that I need to network but then on this site I am told not to follow or friend anyone... help

Friend requesting is not networking. Networking is having people you already know introduce you to their Ole Miss friends or alumni. for example the lady I babysat for her tennis partner was a tri delt at ole miss, introductions were made and I ended up having them at pref. Don't be afraid to ask around

Friend requesting is a form of networking. Use all the tools you can and don't rely on just one.

I'm an active and I used every connection I had and then some ;I ended up in a top house !!!

are allowed to friend them... Especially if they request you first, absolutely follow them back. It'll just look so much worse on your part. This only gets really strict when recruitment gets closer.
