I find the entire chi o membership to be extremely weird. I know their pledge classes are chosen by their alumni well before rush starts, but I'm always wondering why they choose the girls they do!
They are plain Jane's who are socially awkward. Sure they are smart, but that is an academic issue, and sororities are social.
Honestly, chi o can't be ranked with the rest of the sororities. They are no where close to the other sororities socially.

I'm sorry you got cut! Chi o is a GREAT sorority at ole miss, and you can't deny that at all. It will always be top tier and you're just jealous. Calm down. They are kind and genuine but it is hard to get in, but they are very very selective, for good reason.

I agree! And I cut xo after pref! They tried toooo hard to make me cry at pref! Weird is right!
The number of down posts on here tell me that xo dominates this site, always prolong their sorority up! And more than likely are responsible for talking so much smack about other sororities.

They put you in the middle of a group of girls and cry and make you feel like they just Loooove you so much (or try to). The problem is that, you've only just met them. There's like girls crying everywhere and you feel so left out if you are not a mushy, gushy kind of girl. It's like their personal mission to make you cry.
Then they all each out and touch you. I was told this is how they count votes. The more you are touched, the more votes you have.
Everybody was complaining how touchy felt they are.
I didn't want to be in a house that left forced.

I'm a KD and I love my sorority, but anyone who puts down Chi O is just jealous. My favorite people ( outside of my own sorority) are Chi Os. They have a fabulous sisterhood and are the least judgmental house I know. Sure, they have a lot of Jackson legacies, but they're from great families, and I also know tons of non legacies. They're selective and get the best of the best- just like KD. And for the record, KD had everyone crying during pref too. It's just emotional!!

I love Chi O and agree ,great girls !!!! We are so lucky to be able to be in a wonderful sorority and have friends in other houses. I cried at pref too !!!

They were my daughters third choice back when you preffed three sororities.
Nobody loves chi I except their legacies! If you are not a legacy, or from Jackson, be prepared to be treated like an outcast!
